Michigan-China Water Management Exchange Series

The Michigan-China Innovation Center has organized more than 100 exchanges and events on behalf of the Office of the Governor of Michigan and state agencies. Several MCIC exchange programs have focused on environmental protection and sustainability, including work-study trips to Michigan by water management delegations from Guangdong Province (2018) and Jiangxi Province (2018 and 2019).

The State of Michigan celebrated Michigan China Week in June 2019. More than 100 government and business delegates from five of Michigan’s partner regions in China—Shandong, Chongqing, Zhejiang, Hubei, and Inner Mongolia—traveled to Michigan to attend this bilateral exchange.
Michigan China Week 2018

The State of Michigan celebrated Michigan China Week in May 2018, in the cities of Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Grand Rapids. Government and business delegations from six of Michigan’s partner provinces in China—Guangdong, Sichuan, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang— traveled to Michigan to attend this bilateral exchange.
