Since CITIC Dicastal picked Greenville, Michigan, for their new plant in 2015, the innovative aluminum castings company has hired more than 225 full-time workers and will invest more than $200 million in Greenville by the time the plant reaches full production. CITIC Dicastal, a subsidiary of CITIC Group is headquartered in Hebei Province, China, and is the biggest wheel maker in the world. CITIC Dicastal enjoyed substantial support from State of Michigan, from The Right Place in Grand Rapids, and from Consumer’s Energy, who provided information, site selection services, and economic development incentives, fighting hard to win the project from competing states in the South.
